I'm a huge Mobil One fan, and I've switched to the Kirkland oil

I'm on a 5K change interval, so I know the inside of my engines are spotless.

When it comes to oil, you first want to buy one that meets or exceeds all factory recommendations, and you need to change it on a regular basis. If you do that, your engine should easily go 300K, 400K, or even 500K+ miles.

Now if I had a vehicle I was doing "track work," would probably go with Redline synthetic engine motor oil, but you don't need that if you're just doing normal driving. Just keep changing it!
